NATION'S CALL (3) looked ready to win last start at Cranbourne but didn't really seem to run out a strong 2025m, sitting close to a fast pace and fading late to finish sixth. He comes back to a mile now and if Shinn rides him strongly in the front, he'll take plenty of catching. BIGOLINO (2) has been good in two runs back from a spell and should be ready to peak now. NANA'S WISH (16) was well supported fresh on wet ground at Warrnambool and stuck on well for second. Up in grade but she drops 4kg. ELPHINSTONE (14) can be forgiven in a G3 on wet ground last time, this suits much better.
