DIVUS ROMULUS (7) has been building to a win this time in and won't get many better chances. He's placed at his past two having reeled off good splits to get close, continuing his consistent record. Fourth up now, on dry ground and a big track, if Williams can land him close enough he should take a power of beating. FLAMIN' ROMANS (3) is racing in fine form, sticking on well when close to the strong pace at Caulfield last time. That run should hold him in good stead for the 2500m now and he maps ideally. DUKE OF CONDICOTE (6) has been getting better with more ground this time in and steps up in trip again off a strongly run 2000m at Cranbourne. He should be hard to hold out if the tempo is genuine.
