Deserves to break through and this could be his chance. DESSIE GEE (5) chased a smart one when beaten only 1.5m into second at Bendigo last time, his fourth placing from his last five starts. Draws a little lower and a win could be imminent. RAGING WHITEBAIT (7) overcame a similar barrier to beat Smoken Ace and return to winning form here last week. Must rate highly off that performance. LE BELLE BIJOUX (1) was tough in winning here last start, working from a back row draw before scoring by 2.3m. Up in grade but the ace draw could help her take that step. UBETCHA TIGERPIE (8) has trialled since the resuming effort so could have come on.
