With a bit of luck in the running, he should be fighting out the finish. CHEEKY LADDIE (10) stayed on well when fourth over this distance on the polytrack last time. Craig Zackey retains the ride and having won fresh-up previously rates well as a leading chance. HOLOCENE (12) was too good when bolting in as the favourite last start at this track. Richard Fourie is again in the saddle and this gelding looks a genuine winning chance again. UNION ROSE (14) won by a neck three runs back at Fairview All Weather. Well placed in this line-up to return to form.
