MAJOR BURNS (4) made a good start to his career three weeks ago, beaten 4 metres into third over 2400m at Central Southland Raceway. He will naturally improve and can take this out. LOVEYOURMOTHER (2) finished seventh last start, beaten 30 metres at Addington over 2600m. Has ability and should be right in the finish. ROCKOUTRAY (3) is better than his last-start seventh over 1850m at Geraldine. JAYAR MAC (5) disappointed last time but is a chance based on a good third over 2200m at Ascot Park Raceway two runs back. Each way value from a superior gate this time.
