BILLY THE KID (11) finished third last start over 2200m at this track, beaten 2.75 metres. That was an improvement on the unplaced effort at Alexandra Park the run before. Not drawn to best so may need a 10/10 drive. Finds a tougher race but a big run is on the cards. DELIGHTFUL CHIC (7) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 2.25 metres from the winner in second over 1700m here. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is capable of another big performance. DESERT DAWN (1) is worth some thought despite his last-start eighth over 2200m at this circuit on June 5. Can bounce back from the coveted pegs. MIDFREW LUCRE (6) is also in the mix.
