COVERT THINKING (7) improved sharply last time out when facing the starter for just the second time, making late ground to finish a close second over this track and distance. Handled the sting out of the ground that day. Big chance to go one better. BLUE WILLOW (6) has found the line with purpose to fill minor placings at her two runs to date, both over shorter trips at this circuit. Got through the heavy without any bother last time. Serious threat out to this journey. BARBRAY (1) drove hard late but just missed on a heavy deck over 1550m at Canterbury recently. Major player back at the provincials. MURPHILLY (8) missed out by a whisker at Wyong last time. Starting to put it together and cannot be overlooked.
