PREPARATION (10) is a three-year-old son of Lather Up on debut for the Rattray stable. Draws on the back row but was impressive in winning a trial by a big margin. Makes plenty of appeal. NIKITA JO (4) started a hot favourite on debut on the back of good trial efforts but had to settle for third at Carrick. Has been back to the trials since so should have come on. Contender. MY MATE LUKE (6) is a long-time maiden but could be close to a win having placed in his last three outings. HES FIRST CLASS (3) resumes after four months but has placed in both previous fresh attempts and is in the mix from a good draw.
