Has a win and five minor placings at this journey from seven starts and should be in the finish. DAIMEI TAMANA (1) went forward and gave a great sight before finishing second last time out over 1500m at this track. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. SURMOUNT (2) was never in contention when resuming last start over 1600m at Funabashi, finishing 11th and beaten 10 lengths. Expected to do better this time.
