The two-year-olds turn and CAVALRY GIRL (3) is the benchmark of the raced brigade. She debuted in the Geelong Diamond and ran well after showing speed, no match for what looks a very promising type in Cherish Me but beating the rest. Better for that, she'll be very hard to catch. HOT WHISKERS (4) is the only horse to have won a race, scoring nicely on debut at Mornington over 1000m. There'll be more depth here but she can measure up. ETHEREUM GIRL (8) is a filly by Maurice on debut for the Hayes yard. She was a $275,000 purchase who has trialled and jumped out well. Shinn goes on and she should prove hard to beat. HEAVENLY CONQUEST (9) is an I Am Invincible filly on debut for the Maher yard who must be respected.
