KINGS VALLEY (4) was a smart maiden winner fresh at Horsham before just finding one narrowly better at Ararat last time over 1600m. That was an easier race on paper but he put up a good number and profiles like a horse that will continue to measure up, especially with an extra 200m in his favour. VORACIOUS (9) is a lightly raced type who presents third up, sticking on well for second at Kilmore last time. This looks a similar race and he gets Damian Lane up from a good draw which can prove the difference. CAPULET (2) has been about the mark all preparation, okay last time at Moonee Valley. She should push forward and give a sight. HOWLIN' RAIN (10) continues to race very well without winning this time in and won't need to improve much to break through.
