AMALFI (9) made a nice return at his latest appearance two-and-a-half weeks ago, finishing 5.5 metres away in second over 2000m at Rangiora. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Meets a similar line up so he is capable of getting the job done. MY SKATJIE (3) resumes here after closing his last prep with a fourth at Addington on July 21. Expected to run well. ROCKCENT (5) is capable of better after finishing well back when resuming over 2600m at Oamaru Raceway two-and-a-half weeks ago. GOOD TIME BETTY (8) could only finish eighth over 2000m at Rangiora most recently. Open to improvement and is in the mix.
