DREAM OF THE MOON (1) raced handy to the pace fresh up here just over 2 weeks ago, and just peaked on her run late, finishing fourth. She will find this easier, and the extra 200m will suit her. Hard to beat. LADY IMPENDING (12) has franked some good trial form with a pair of wins at Arawa Park to open her career. She is nicely placed in this with 2kg less to carry, and the hat-trick is not beyond her. MAD MAX (4) has not had all the luck since a big win here in the spring. He was unsuited to leading last time out, and from the pole position, he can settle just off the pace. Bruno Queiroz picks up the ride, and he can't be taken lightly. Each way. MID OCEAN (13) ended her last campaign in the NZ Oaks, and then resumed from a spell here over 1400m, and was too strong for BM65 grade. A wide gate is no help here, but she has more to offer, and is another with solid each-way claims. SISTA SUGAR (6) finished runner-up in a strong field here 16 days ago, and should be thereabouts again.
