RUBY MARVEL (14) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1200m at this track. Has ability and sure to prove tough to beat. BRIGHT TERRA (12) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing when prominent at the turn, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1400m here. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CACIOCAVALLO (2) could only manage fourth on debut then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this circuit, beaten 4 lengths. Well placed and there is no why reason he cannot find winning ways. AMAZING YOSHINO (6) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished fifth over 1400m at this course, beaten 12 lengths. Where there's smoke there's fire and deserves another chance.
