EGERTON (8) was a bit disappointing first up over this route off the long spell, beaten at $1.75 when picking up late in a dash home for fourth. She's lightly raced and should be better for that run, giving her another go. RUNLIKENENCRYPTION (6) resumes. She took on some handy 3yo races last time in work, fourth at Flemington three back reading very well for this. She should track the speed from the inside gate and acquit herself well. WRITTEN BLIGH (1) resumes. She's a consistent mare who should be suited at 1000m fresh despite not boasting a win at the trip. She's got good speed and has won a trial leading in for the Begg yard who continue to get it right with these horses. PICK 'N' MIX (2) is a lightly raced mare who resumes having won her only start last preparation with a smart victory. She has plenty of upside and draws for every chance. MISS SWIFT (5) perhaps next best.
