He will relish the extra 500m and could go back-to-back. KIWI SKYHAWK (4) was close up last start when fifth over 1600m here after settling well back, and then running on strongly over the concluding stages. He should appreciate the extra distance and is a genuine each-way chance. BALANCE OF POWER (2) produced a solid third over 2200m at Te Aroha last time out, and he will be peaking at the right time here. With a cosy run early on from his inside draw, he will be right in the finish again.
