He will be peaking third up, and though he is up in class, he drops 3kg in weight, and can go one better here. ATMOSPHERIC (3) caught the eye with a strong late run to finish sixth at this track last start. The blinkers are off, and he will relish the extra 500m now. He usually gets back, so look for him to hit the line hard again. MALDINI (5) hasn't won for a while, finishing fourth over 2400m at Ellerslie last time out. He might want some cut in the ground, but he is always a top 4 chance. MOLLIFY (11) ran a solid third over 1600m here last start, just over a length off the winner. She is bred to relish more ground, and gets her chance over a middle distance for the first time here, so stick with her. I PARK (12) was beaten by a wide gate over 2400m at Ellerslie 18 days ago, and he is worth another chance from a superior gate here. Each way value.
