AGERA (2) has been the find of the spring, and made it 2 wins on the bounce with a gritty victory at Tauherenikau 2 weeks ago over 2050m. 4 of his 7 career wins have been over a mile, and in his current space, the hat-trick beckons. LADIES MAN (1) has been competing at G1 level, and was placed third in the Livamol Classic 4 weeks ago. He has a good draw, and the conditions of this race make him very hard to beat. MALI STON (5) has not had much go his way this prep, and with some firmer footing, he can show his true worth. Stick with him on an each-way basis. MEANINGFUL STAR (3) ran his best race this prep, third up at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago. He usually holds his form when fit and can cope with any track conditions. Each way claims again. WILD NIGHT (6) had an excuse here 2 weeks ago and will have the visor blinkers on this time. He will be peaking third up, and a form reversal is on the cards.
