Impossible to go past KING ZEPHYR (8) who gets in very well at the weights with 54kg off a strong win at Sandown Hillside second up. It was only a BM84 there but he came away with 59kg to win it well. The only slight knock if you wanted to be harsh was all his form has been on big tracks, not handling Moonee Valley all that well fresh. Should still be winning and the price reflects that. If there's a danger, ZOU SENSATION (3) is the horse. He tried hard in the G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes last time with 52kg to finish a narrow sixth. Up in the weights now but maps ideally and will have first run on the favourite. AMENABLE (1) resumes. He's a classy horse at his best although he hasn't done a whole lot of winning. He's jumped out well. BENAGIL (2) was a G1 winner last time in over 2000m but fancy 1400-1600m probably ends up her best trip. She is penalised for that win at the weights which makes it tough. KINTYRE (6) can be an improver second up.
