BRAYDEN STAR (8) is going better than it looks in the form guide. He's been putting himself on speed and fighting on well, only two lengths off second last start in the G3 Naturalism Stakes won dominantly by Half Yours who is a clear Caulfield Cup favourite. Suited not to 2400m, he lands in the first four and should run another good race at each way odds. YOUNG WERTHER (3) hit the line powerfully two back in a good race at Flemington before tackling the G1 Turnbull Stakes last week, hardly disgraced when beaten 4.5 lengths by Sir Delius. Lands in a good spot here although 2400m is still a box he's yet to fully tick. PLYMOUTH (9) was a tough winner of the Benalla Cup last time out and can improve again up in trip. POST IMPRESSIONIST (2) is another going better than it looks, he just wants a race with tempo. SCARY (10) was better last time and might be able to go on with it.
