Siding with the new blood here which could be TRES MAGNIFIQUE (15) who was ultra-impressive to the eye on debut at Ballarat over 1000m, getting back before ripping home down the outside in fast time to score. They ran nearly a second faster than the older horses on the card and 1200m should only suit better. No doubt this is harder, but she can measure up strongly. POINT BARROW (5) is the one to beat. Two wins to start the campaign were very good before getting too far back in the G3 Champagne Stakes at Moonee Valley and charging home to run third. She'll likely be back but with one bend out of the chute, she can race wide and take holding out. VEIN GIRL (2) was first up in the same race, getting a nice run and boxing on well for a narrow fourth. Fitter now, she'll roll forward and give a sight.
