Tricky. EQUERRY (7) resumed with a half-head defeat at Canterbury and it was a tough effort. He's one of multiple acceptors from the Waller camp and may be the best of them. Presents fitter and will be hard to beat in this suitable race. LAUPER (14) peaks off two solid placings. The speed-bred filly can improve again and should be right in it. AMARILLO SKY (4) debuts for the Maher yard and the well-bred colt won a recent Warwick Farm trial by 2.2L. Has an awkward gate but has the blinkers on and a bold run is on the cards. The betting will be key. COOL RUPERT (5) had been a long time coming to the races but impressed narrowly beaten here on debut when expected to need it. Has a wide gate but won't have to improve much to play a part in the finish.
