4 Big Time Risk
Comfortably won a qualifying trial in a respectable 17.91s last Friday. 7 My Own World was good again in defeat last week but was run down when clocking 18 flat which seems to be his lot at the moment.
Selections: 4-7-8-5
7 Big Time Orson
Had her chance in front last Friday but did post her fastest time to date. Should hold on in this. 8 Typical Arlo costs himself with typically slow starts but this trap should work for him.
Selections: 7-8-3-6
5 Goldstar Hogan
Bold second to a promising youngster in a slick time when fresh. Wins tonight. Quaddie anchor & multi-builder.
Selections: 5-3-7-4
1 Big Time Buff
Ran into trouble when trying to recover from a slow start when favourite at Manawatu midweek. Should use the ace alley well & looks well placed in thius race.
Selections: 1-4-3-5
6 Big Time Proof
Straight track specialist of late but was terrific when second in his only 305m venture here two starts back.
Selections: 6-7-8-3
8 Blazing Maeve
Overcame a slow start to storm clear in this class at Manawatu. Has won over 520m here. 2 Laddu Rose has had her races well spaced of late. She's better than her formline reads so keep her safe in exotics.
Selections: 8-2-6-4
5 Black Malt
Has stepped up well to this grade & meets a field he should have covered tonight. 7 Sangria Affair doesn't win out of turn but as the market suggests she looks the only other legitimate winning chance in this.
Selections: 5-7-3-8
3 He's All Go
Will blast past $200k in stakes at just his 42nd start if he wins as expected given his gutsy victory a week ago.
Selections: 3-4-5-2
4 Big Time Chur
Recent downgrader is tricky to catch on the right night but he hasn't been far away in handy fields. Looked value on opening at $8. Probably need top four in the quaddie though.
Selections: 4-7-2-5
2 Abbey Road
Was ok down the straight track last start but the better guide is a swift second after leading here a fortnight ago. Reliable beginner from the 305m traps.
Selections: 2-5-4-8
5 Big Time Bullet
Better efforts at Manawatu lately & he has a decent record on this circuit. 7 Lockwood Loop has terrific mid-race speed but his lack of early pace is making wins elusive in this class.
Selections: 5-7-8-4
Best: Abbey Road
Next: Big Time Buff
Value: Big Time Chur
