WHANGANUI ASSESSMENTS – 31ST MAY 2025
Weather: Showers, clearing to fine in the morning. Westerlies, becoming strong.
Track Conditions: Heavy 8 (Fri am) – Rail True from 1200m to WP, Remainder Out 1m.
Track Pattern: Comparable set up to May 11th meeting (Rail +3m from 1200 to WP, Remainder +1m. Heavy 8). Shown that fence in-run to be a negative (to varying degrees) and lanes 6+ on the turn and further out in the straight was best. I'm working on the assumption of a similar track on Saturday.
