Roso unleashes some winning hopefuls at Whanganui
Roso's best bet, Not Okay, on the podium after winning at Whanganui straight track last month | Photo: Wanganui GRC

Race 1

Slow trapper with ability. Hard to back a dog like her at such short odds but her potential biggest threat 8 Grasscutter Moe also lacks early dash.
Selections: 7-8-4-3

Race 2

Slow starts have hindered him in his two sprints here to date but he has still been able to get up for second behind a dog that has now won five straight.
Selections: 3-5-7-4

Race 3

Swamped late at Manawatu but is far more effective on this track where she ran third behind two promising hounds last Friday.
Selections: 4-8-2-7

Race 4

Was unlucky here last week then made up for it by winning at Manawatu midweek from 1 Our Boy Romeo. Both appeal at the odds against the promising 6 My Mini Me which is effectively jumping two classes & is up over 520m for the first time.
Selections: 8-1-6-4

Race 5

Has got the start right for the last two weeks so happy to stay with her for now. 3 We Ride ran faster than Lime here a fortnight ago then put away a quality field at Manawatu. Quaddie cover.
Selections: 5-3-6-8

Race 6

Distant second in a small field last Friday. Can control the race being drawn near the rail.
Selections: 3-5-6-7

Race 7

Has chased a form dog home twice recently from unsuitable wide draws. Could find the front in this field. 4 Cliff Top Winnie is a recent downgrader with definite claims in this line-up.
Selections: 5-4-7-8

Race 8

Went close to winning after a month off. Wouldn't have to improve much to take this at decent each way odds.
Selections: 4-7-5-6

Race 9

Followed up last week's win here with another over a high quality field at Manawatu.
Selections: 5-3-4-6

Race 10

Game second from a wide alley in the fastest sprint of the night when last presented a fortnight ago. Each way play.
Selections: 3-6-5-7

Race 11

Has now won six from 10 after last week's impressive display & the rise in class looks well within him.
Selections: 6-5-3-8

Race 12

Close fourths in both her starts within the last week so appeals in an even field. 6 Bow Belle Beth has the wheels for this so might be the best rank outsider of the night.
Selections: 4-6-5-8

Best: Not Okay
Next: Big Time Paris
Value: Cliff Top Banger
