Won well when resuming at Hatrick on Friday beating 6 Taylor's Sport & 7 Forever A Fairy over 305m. Her two starts here have been in stronger 457m fields. She trialled in a good time over this trip last month. 7 Forever a Fairy was good to the lure on Friday after being camped three wide on the speed. Her miss here was over 457m. Looks the value play.
Selections: 5-7-6-2
Former c5 dog finally got an overdue c1 win on Friday & he's a decent chance of doubling up in this field.
Selections: 8-3-7-4
Second at the last meeting here was behind a Canterbury visitor that won a heat of the group one Railway on Sunday. He outfinished 2 Shim that day. 4 Need A Favour has a terrific record over 375m & had excuses when third on Friday.
Selections: 3-4-2-9
Mixes his form & his distances but reverse order races over 375m are his sweet spot. 8 Music Road delivered in a similar race the last time she was here in November.
Selections: 4-8-6-2
Qualified well on this track but has been expensive in two starts elsewhere to date. Had a few excuses on Friday so staying with despite the winner of that race 5 Cloud Booming being present.
Selections: 7-5-6-3
Drops back to a sprint after throwing away a race win over 520m & pulling up sore. Has struggled to get around this track cleanly in stronger 457m fields but this sets up well for him.
Selections: 8-5-4-6
Railed well to run into second after a slow start over 305m on Friday. Returns to the track where he has posted both his wins & the inside draw gives him the nod. 8 Pick the Gap should be helped early by the 7 which cut in from a wide draw on Friday.
Selections: 1-8-5-2
Was defeated on merit by 5 Jilliby Finale as they continued to swap results at Hatrick. Jean has been the pick of the pair around this track to date.
Selections: 2-5-8-6
Made a much better beginning on Friday & smashed the clock. Low winning strike-rate here to date but the draw aids his cause.
Selections: 2-3-4-7
Got home from a kinder draw at Hatrick. Ran a slashing time here six starts back but could be vulnerable late to 6 That's Contact & 2 Big Time Axel who had his measure by the time they got to the lure on Friday.
Selections: 4-6-2-8
Crossed to the lead from a wide draw & won easily over 520m. Won in a super time in her only start here. Anchor.
Selections: 8-3-5-1
Dropping back to a sprint after racing well in strong middle distance fields. Is two from two at this trip.
Selections: 8-2-3-6
Best: Double Please
Next: Groot's Galaxy
Value: Music Road
