Race 1
Bold debut second to a handy hound. Was pushing out early from a closer draw so the wider trap today could suit. 8 Big Time Lopez was third in the same race after early crowding. The clear & obvious danger.
Selections: 7-8-4-6
Race 2
Was cut off at the bend & didn't finish the race off well in a stronger c2/3 field a fortnight ago. Has beaten 1 Green Gold & 8 Carrington Magic twice in their meetings to date although the latter continues to improve.
Selections: 5-1-8-3
Race 3
Impressive maiden win considering she was pushed around in the early rush. Better suited by this draw today & the rise in class is no obstacle given the time she ran when qualifying on this track. 6 Double Please looks the only quaddie threat running out c1 nominations after helping himself to a double at Manawatu.
Selections: 2-6-8-3
Race 4
A touch unlucky here last Friday then ran through the line strongly when fourth at Manawatu. Can get awkward when wanting out at the first bend but he looks close to a win & the opening quote looks fair in an even line-up.
Selections: 2-1-6-5
Race 5
Surprisingly beaten by 8 Big Time Rua here before posting another win at Manawatu. 7 Big Time Bora is never far away on a Friday but needs a better beginning than last week when third in the corresponding race.
Selections: 2-7-8-4
Race 6
Dropping back to a sprint in a fresh state & her two wins to date came over 295m at Addington. Worth a shot at the opening price given the favourite 6 Big Time Talea isn't the full package yet.
Selections: 3-6-5-2
Race 7
Didn't produce a lot from the outside draw at Manawatu midweek but he ran home attractively here last Friday & should be prominent throughout from the ace alley. Market tells the story of an open affair.
Selections: 1-4-5-3
Race 8
Big win on Tuesday when he got the start right at last. He hasn't been as effective here to date but he still looks the one to beat drawn underneath the fresh downgrader 4 Cliff Top Winnie who can boost exotics.
Selections: 3-4-5-2
Race 9
Brave winner the last two Fridays utilising her early speed & courage. Drawn wider than is ideal for her but there appears to be enough right to left pressure underneath her to help her find the front again.
Selections: 7-6-8-5
Race 10
Ran a Manawatu specialist close on Tuesday in her downgrade run. Gets a great opportunity to go one better drawn the inside.
Selections: 2-5-9-3
Race 11
Unlucky fourth on Tuesday after being runner-up here last week. Finally gets a decent draw to work with.
Selections: 2-7-5-6
Race 12
Lost her place mid-race here seven days ago but claimed a distant second at long odds on Tuesday. Is the only c3 racing c2s.
Selections: 5-3-4-6
Best: Big Time Meghan
Next: Big Time Devan
Value: Big Time Dora
