Runner-up here last week from the same draw behind a dog that has won again since. Third at Manawatu was solid but he has looked better on this track to date.

Runner-up after leading here last week then led again for a time when third at Manawatu midweek. Overdue.

5 Child Prodigy
Has had no luck in her two starts here while looking a real talent in two wins elsewhere. Needs a similar beginning to her slashing victory at Manawatu on Tuesday. 6 Sweet And Sassy won a sprint at Manawatu but is better known over more ground & is at tempting each way odds.

Followed up her slick second last Friday with a convincing win in this class at Manawatu. 6 Sunbird Striker ran faster than the favourite on Tuesday but he can be tardy from the traps here at times.

Led before succumbing to stronger dogs over 375m at Manawatu. Was unlucky here last month but this track & trip should suit him.

Was gallant in defeat on Tuesday after a forgive run here. This sets up nicely for him. 4 Big Time Lopez can run faster than any of her rivals but she always seems to find one better in a race situation.

Ran the fastest time of the night a week ago & wasn't far off the same at Manawatu. Never an easy watch with his racing pattern but he should run past these rivals.

Hasn't been at her best in recent races but is still going well enough to win this. Her sister 2 To Be Wild is the main threat although she can be inconsistent at the start.

Fast trapper has been fading late in her races but has now had five starts back in this campaign so should be close to peak fitness.

Excusable miss at Cambridge pulling up with muscle soreness. Two sharp wins here prior. Up another class but has run the times to cope. 7 Jilliby Eaton won in career-best time here last Friday then second in a swift race at Manawatu. She is also up in class.

Ran past 2 Sprinkle Jean to win in style here a week back. Both won at Manawatu on Tuesday with Jean the most impressive but back at Hatrick JF could triumph again.

Hasn't raced since June but her trial was tidy last week & she's at juicy odds in a race that she looks capable of winning.
