The Boys Get Paid Punters Club is ready to run again.
Fresh from the Melbourne Cup, Boys Get Paid (BGP) are setting up to take on the TAB bookies across the three days of racing at Cup Week in Christchurch.
Aiming to bank winnings across all three codes – Greyhounds, Harness and Gallops – BGP are looking to bring as many punters onboard with them.
It’s a relatively simple process to join the group.
In the TAB app you navigate your way to the bottom right-hand corner, click more and you’ll find Boys Get Paid in the top right corner.
“If there is something that comes up with a code, you can just simply click the X up in the top right corner and you're going to be into the group and then from there we open pots for the Punters Club,” Dan Rack from BGP says.
BGP’s Luke Kemeys explains this pot option is a little different to previous BGP Punters Club executions.
“You're gonna see a pot on your screen at the top right,” he says.
“If you click into that you'll be able to view the current pot that is open. There'll be a current balance in there.
“But if you view that pot, then you can add your buy in. Basically, you will click on that and that will move funds from your TAB account into the pot.”
Betting activity on the day will be shared by the group and you'll be able to see the bets that have been placed via the activity section which sits next to pots.
“This is gonna be a great way to keep everybody up to date with what we've had a crack at and hopefully we can find a few winners for you at cup week,” Kemeys says.
BGP pot group members will be able to put in whatever value they like and should that return a win their percentage of the win will be calculated by what they put in.
NZ Cup Week kicks off on November 9.
